who he's talking too. (I met an Inca youth a few years back at a festival in OK... he had an awesome voice. X3)

Personality Summary:
    Stoic and serious, Bastian may come across as sullen, or in other terms.... a wet blanket. But he
does indeed feel deeply, he just... doesn't let it show with a smile. He shows it by his willingness to
risk his life for his fellow Cydroids, and... albeit oft begrudgingly, his human allies, although those are
few and far inbetween.

Quite frankly, there is nothing he wouldn't do for his friends, no risks he wouldn't take for those
under his care, or command. And under his lead, no one gets left behind. Ever.

He does not hesitate to do what needs to be done... whether it be taking out an enemy so it cannot
harm them again, or dashing headlong into oncoming fire to cover a teammate.

He is not without mercy however, and would never kill for the sake of killing, nor would he ever kill an
innocent, or one proved to have acted with no choice, under duress, or against their will. He may have
no love for them... but they would not be harmed unduly nonetheless. He was better than that.

Bio Summary:
    0-13 y.o. - The first thing he remembers was the pain of experimentation, of genetic alteration. That,
and the disjointed flash-backs of a past that didn't feel like his own. He knew not for how long this lasted,
but it lasted long enough for him to foster a feral hatred for any human in a lab-coat... or any human at
all for that matter. Though... there had been one bright point, however.... the daughter of one of the
scientists. Aeryn Keiro. She... always tried to help him, and the others, even when it began to get her in
serious trouble with the other humans.

    ~14 y.o - Then came the event that changed his life for the better. Cydroid rebels broke into the facility he
was being held at, a satellite site of GENSEC (and a rather disreputable one at that) at a supposedly secret
location. Secret no more. It would later be found out that the one kind soul had found a way to contact the
Resistance... and had done so. Pandemonium ensued, and in the fracas, he escaped along with a few others.
He never saw what happened to the girl...

    ~15 y.o. to date - Ever since, he's been following the example of those he'd been freed by, using his abilities
to infiltrate and free others in turn, fighting the battle to take back his home. Sometimes this was... difficult, as,
occasionally, he would come across a human that had taken their side. It was hard... not to see them as the
enemy. But... remembering the kindness of the one before, always helped to ease his inner rage. But what made
it even more difficult... was the few times he'd come across a Cy who had been 'brainwashed' to serve
GENSEC and their cause. The pain he felt fighting his own.... was like no other he had felt. Not even under
the scalpel of the scientists. The only thing that really helps that pain ... is flying, taking the time to get to know
those under his command, spending time with younglings... and tinkering with the ship he and his resistance cell
had, with much stolen tech and supplies, made.
