Lodan | ST OC | Cardassian (WIP)

I've been watching Deep Space Nine lately... a LOT of Deep Space Nine, and I have to say,
that without a shadow of a doubt, the Cardassians are my absolute favorite species.

Maybe it's the reptilian look... maybe it's the snarky personality Ive come to love, something
that Dukat and Garak (favorite DS9 character) excelled at... maybe it's the way one's hair stands
up every time one of them smiles... but I love 'em.

This here is Lodan... dunno what his surname is yet, but I'll figure it out. And he comes with a whole
passel of Talon-made non-canon lore, specifically about his albinism. I'll have to type it all out one day,
but right now... it's late, and I will need to sleep sometime tonight.

Right now though, I have to say, I was intrigued when I learned Cardassians had brown blood, and
I HAD to try and accurately draw up an albino reflecting that. Unfortunately, although there is one
earth creature with manganese-based porphyrin in their blood, thus turning it brown - the
Pinna Squamosa mollusc -  I could not for the life of me find a single photo example anywhere. 

So, I had to guess. Brown... thus no pink eyes, no pink hues. White scales/hide, like an albino cobra,
and a pearly tan for the thinner non-scaled parts.


Additionally, I added a few.. modifications. Cardassians are meant to be very clear (reptomammal)
humanoids, so, I did not do any major modifications... but I did tweak here and there. A more pronounced
'hood' worked pretty well (I am going to add a pale 'cobra eye' to Lodan's back...) and the hands... they
needed a less human look, so, did that... as did the feet.

No, the height is not a general tweak, it's Lodan specific. Actually, it's albino-specific...
