So the moment hadn't lasted long... at all. Kinos had trotted off yet again, and several
times after that once Sierra had caught up.

It was still hot, but the late afternoon was starting to cool off the air as the shadows
lengthened. And still, Sierra followed, not making a sound, and not moving once Kinos
decided to stop for awhile.

It didn't take much longer after the sky began to darked for the mare to figure out just
exactly what was going on.

And she wasn't sure she liked it much... at all.

Finally, the mare stood still once again. Waiting.

Sierra stopped as well, for a long while as the mare just stared back at her from across the
pasture. Then the girl took a few steps closer. The mare didn't budge. Then a few steps
closer. Not a twitch.

Kinos allowed the human to near just close enough for a good examination of it's features,
then she pinned her ears. Oddly enough, the human stopped, heeding the equine warning.

There both stood, neither far away from the other, Sierra looking dileberately away from the
mare, and the mare not taking her eyes off the human.

Finally, the mare had enough of this odd... human. Pinning her ears further, she made a beeline
for the small human at a slow trot, head down, and an ugly look on her face. Maybe she could
frighten the human away...

The girl still stood her ground, but still didn't look at the mare....
