Well, not so much a recovery as a settling in. She was already healed when Second Chance
gained ownership, but it did take some time before she acclimated to her new home. Who
could blame her though? I wouldn't leave my box either if I was surrounded by strangers and
couldn't fly....

But just look at her now! The small aviary, fitted with many ladders fit for barbet feet, gave
her freedom to move... freedom that she'd not quite had since her injury. Yes, she was happy.
